Moreton Stables Livery is a small, friendly yard nestling within
the lush Cheshire plains. Backing onto the magnificent
Great Moreton Hall and located within the foothills of the well-
known Mow Cop Castle, the yard boasts breath-taking 360
degree views of countryside.
A full range of livery services are available, from DIY to part
and full. We also provide schooling and holiday liveries. In
total there are 21 stables, 16 of which are within a U-shaped
building with a covered central area - ideal for grooming,
clipping, farrier work and tacking up. Each stable has a view,
either of the central area or of the fields to the rear of the main
building. (some have both)
Quite country lanes surround the stables for miles, providing
excellent hacking. For those wanting to step it up a gear, there’s
a fantastic 50-acre farm ride within the grounds. Riders can also
take advantage of an all weather menage which measures
70m x 30m. (approx)
Being a small livery yard, comprising mainly adults, there is a
great atmosphere and plenty of opportunities to socialize.
Recent events have included BBQ’s and trips to horse trials at
places such as Chatsworth House in Derbyshire and BSJA
show jumping at “Olympic hopeful” ground Somerford Park Farm,
near Congleton.
