DIAGNOSING FAULTS
PROBLEM:
I have a problem with my horse that is exasperating me. I don't know why it's happening and feel disheartened with my progress.
THE SOLUTION:
Don't feel down, Equinefix have had many clients with various different problems and after
some Equinefix help, they have been transformed into an harmonious partnership.
£40.00 per consultation followed by one-hour private lesson
£35.00 per hour + travel 40p per mile.
BREAKING & EDUCATING THE YOUNG HORSE
After years of hard work, the ultimate reward is seeing your young horse mature into a well mannered and educated equine.
This is every young horse owner's dream, but without the right guidance and techniques many youngsters become nappy, stubborn, naughty and have many tantrums. They can even become aggressive when asked to do something different.
They can become dead to the leg and hard in the mouth because
they don't understand what is being asked of them.
SOLUTION:
Loose schooling, join up, lungeing, standing when getting on and off, moving forwards, flexing and rein back - these
are just a few of the many things Equinefix will teach your horse to do - in a non-aggressive and positive manner without the need
for whips or aggression.
Most of the above training could be introduced on your first session.
£35.00 per hour + travel 40p per mile.
GROUND WORK
This involves:
Halter training - which teaches the horse to stop and step backwards, meaning no more pulling
their owners around and they will soon learn to respect your space.
Loose schooling - which involves body language and join up.
Lungeing - learn the art of lungeing without any problems, no more turning in, falling in or aggressive behavior.
£35.00 per hour + travel 40p per mile.
GROUP LESSONS WITH A DIFFERENCE
These lessons will involve seeing all riders working together with their horse and discussing the problems
they are having such as head throwing, falling in, no flexion through the neckline, heavy in hand and on the
forehand, not moving away from the leg, neckline not straight, etc....
Equinefix will ride each horse to demonstrate how you should work towards correcting an error or improving
the horse's way of going, so they clearly understand what is being asked of them.
Each rider will then have a hands-on experience so they can feel and understand how to correct the problem in hand.
Each group will work towards progressing on to new movements and lateral work in later sessions.
Classes from adult beginners, to novice and upwards. Groups of four to six horses.
Groups can be taken at your own venue or mine.
BEHAVIOURAL PROBLEMS
PROBLEM:
Your horse is aggressive in or out of the stable, being led, lunged or even ridden.
Equinefix have the solutions for you.
BAD LOADER
PROBLEM:
You've spent hour after hour trying to load your horse without success, leading to stress for the horse and a feeling of failure for yourself.
SOLUTION:
Using Equinefixes own tried and tested methods, Equinefix will work on a one-to-one with your horse, making
sure he feels comfortable going in and out of a trailer or wagon.
Equinefix will then spend time making sure you feel happy to handle and load your horse by yourself, so the problem
doesn't reoccur and you can both be happy to enjoy your days out.
